Mercia Woodsman 6×12 Combi Greenhouse

The Mercia Woodsman 6×12 Combi Greenhouse with Storage Shed is a stylish and practical option for those seeking somewhere to pot and grow plants and flowers as well as store garden equipment and accessories. Featuring a traditional apex roofline, there is generous headroom inside, great for storing taller equipment and installing shelving.  The walls of this greenhouse and shed are constructed using premium horizontal 12mm interlocking tongue and groove boards. The shiplap profile includes a protective and aesthetically pleasing lip to create a strong, weatherproof panel. Complete with thick wooden framing to support the cladding internally, this building offers a rigid and long-lasting structure.

The floor and roof of the shed section are also made from tongue and groove cladding, this is ideal for storing heavier gardening equipment and tools. Robust roofing felt, fixtures and fittings are supplied as standard, alongside detailed instructions and manufacturer’s recommendations, to ensure a simple and stress free assembly process.

Manufactured here in the UK, using sustainably sourced and regulated timber, all of the Mercia buildings come with an Anti-rot guarantee, to ensure your garden building looks great and lasts the test of time, this building in particular comes with a conditional 15 year Anti-rot guarantee as well as a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. Annual re-treatment is required to maintain your building and the Anti-rot guarantee.

Base:
The floor of the shed is made from tongue and groove cladding, this is ideal for storing heavier gardening equipment and tools. No floor is supplied with the greenhouse to ensure water can drain easily after you have watered the produce.  In order to have a long lasting building, you must ensure there is a level base ready for the building to sit on. This can be concrete, slabs, or a pressure treated wooden frame and must be no bigger than the size of the building.  An additional option is to add the Premium Base, which offers extra thickness and durability.

Doors:
The Combi Greenhouse with Storage Shed is supplied with two doors; one door with styrene glazing into the greenhouse section; and one door into the shed, which is wood.  The modular doors can be positioned anywhere on the greenhouse, giving you the flexibility to customise the layout to suit your space and access needs. Whether you prefer the doors at the front, side, or rear, this feature ensures easy entry and exit wherever you need it most.

Glazing:
The glazing is made of UV resistant 2.8mm Styrene and 1mm APET Styrene, which allows maximum light into the greenhouse, while being safe and shatterproof.

Cladding:
12mm Shiplap Tongue and Groove.

Roof Vents:
The Combi Greenhouse with Storage Shed is equipped with one manual roof vent on the greenhouse side of the building.

Treatment:
The building is Dip Treated as standard.  Once your garden building has been installed it will need to be treated as soon as possible with paint, preserver, stain or oil. This will need to be repeated annually to prevent the timber from deteriorating and to waterproof it.

Guarantee:
The Combi Greenhouse with Storage Shed is sold with a conditional 15 year anti-rot guarantee giving peace of mind for the future of the building.  You must apply a preservative and waterproofing topcoat immediately after installation.
