The Mercia 6×3 Traditional Tall Wall Greenhouse is ideal for green-fingered growers short on space. This charming Victorian-style growhouse is the perfect solution for backyards, patios, or smaller gardens.
Crafted with durable 12mm shiplap cladding, the interlocking timber panels create a strong and weather-resistant structure to keep your plants and tools safe and sheltered. The UV-treated styrene glazing allows plenty of natural light in to promote healthy plant growth, while also protecting against harmful rays, cracking, or discolouration over time.
The opening roof windows provide vital ventilation, helping you to regulate the internal temperature to suit your growing needs, whether you’re nurturing delicate seedlings or hardy vegetables and the classic pent roof design not only channels rainwater away to extend the life of the timber, but it’s also perfect for rainwater harvesting – a great way to keep your watering sustainable!
Manufactured here in the UK, using sustainably sourced and regulated timber, all of the Mercia buildings come with an Anti-rot guarantee, to ensure your garden building looks great and lasts the test of time, this building in particular comes with a conditional 10 year Anti-rot guarantee as well as a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. Annual re-treatment is required to maintain your building and the Anti-rot guarantee.
Base:
No floor is supplied with the greenhouse to ensure water can drain easily after you have watered the produce. In order to have a long lasting building, you must ensure there is a level base ready for the building to sit on. This can be concrete, slabs, or a pressure treated wooden frame and must be no bigger than the size of the building.
Doors:
The Traditional Tall Wall Greenhouse is supplied with double opening doors which are around 3/4 glazed.
Glazing:
The greenhouse is fitted with 2.8mm Styrene as standard.
Cladding:
12mm Shiplap Tongue and Groove.
Roof Vents:
The Mercia Woodsman Greenhouse is equipped with a double roof vent.
Treatment:
The building is Dip Treated as standard. Once your garden building has been installed it will need to be treated as soon as possible with paint, preserver, stain or oil. This will need to be repeated annually to prevent the timber from deteriorating and to waterproof it.
Painted Finish:
The Woodsman Greenhouse is also available with a ready-painted service with a range of appealing colours including: Castle Green, Clove, Dove, Driftwood, Lakeside and Olive Tree for an additional cost. The building will arrive fully painted and ready to use. This will also include a 1 litre pot of your chosen paint for future touch ups as well as a three-year paint guarantee.
Guarantee:
*The Mercia Woodsman Greenhouse is sold with a conditional 10 year anti-rot guarantee giving peace of mind for the future of the building. You must apply a preservative and waterproofing topcoat immediately after installation.
Installation:
If you require an installation service, please check the box and check out as normal. Once your order is complete, you will be contacted by the supplier to arrange delivery and installation, usually within 28 days.

- Installers are fully trained, expert fitters and will remove packaging from site on completion.
- Building constructed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and standards.
