Elite Sanctuary 8 Package Deal

If you have space for a 8ft wide greenhouse, the Sanctuary 8 offers a distinctive alternative to more traditional designs. Its innovative structure features extra-high eaves running the full length of the greenhouse, eliminating the height restrictions commonly found in conventional greenhouse frames.

Constructed using Elite’s Titan bar, the Sanctuary 8 is one of the strongest greenhouse frames available in the UK, making it particularly well suited to exposed or challenging locations. It is available in unlimited lengths and in the full range of Elite’s powder-coated finishes. As standard, it includes a selection of features designed to enhance ventilation and safety, such as roof vents, louvres and 4mm toughened safety glass.  See the Specification tab for further details.

A further standout feature is the flexibility of the double-door positioning. Doors can be installed at the front, side, rear, or even on two sides of the greenhouse, allowing you to tailor access to suit your garden layout and working preferences while improving ease of use and versatility.

The Elite Sanctuary Package Deal is also available as an 6ft wide model for those who prefer a wider greenhouse.

Base:
The greenhouse features an aluminium integral base, which is part of the framework giving additional strength.  Elite Greenhouses only supply bases made from aluminium, therefore removing the fear of rust, rot or warping.

The majority of greenhouses are constructed onto a solid foundation however if your greenhouse is being constructed onto soil or grass, persistent stepping on the door cill will cause damage as it will naturally follow the contour of the ground. A hard support, such as flags, must be fitted under the cill and Elite recommend using their soft soil support which allows the door(s) to run in the track.

Doors:
An added feature of the Elite Sanctuary 8 is the versatility of the door placement.  The greenhouse is supplied with low threshold double doors, with a handle, lock and key, but you have the option to have these either on the front (gable), the side (length) or rear of the greenhouse.  Doors can only be fitted on the length for 8ft and over.

Glass:
The greenhouse is equipped with 4mm toughened safety glass as standard.

The Titan Bar:

Roof Vents & Louvres:
The Sanctuary 8 Package Deal has a minimum of one roof vent and one 10-blade louvre.  The number increases with the size of greenhouse:

• 6ft long with one roof vent and one 10-blade louvre
• 8ft, 10ft & 12ft long with two roof vents and one 10-blade louvre
• 14ft & 16ft long with four roof vents and one 10-blade louvre
• 18ft & 20ft long with six roof vents and one 10-blade louvre

Automatic Ventilation:
Automatic roof vent openers are included on every standard vent.  With the Sactuary 6 Package Deal, an Elite automatic louvre opener is also included.  The automated openers will ensure that your vents open and close automatically, depending on the temperature, keeping your plants ventilated appropriately.

Shelving/Staging:
One 7-slat diamond staging and one 2-slat diamond shelf is included with the package deal. If you choose the greenhouse to be powder-coated, the shelving will be colour-matched to your greenhouse.

Rainwater Collection:
The greenhouse is provided with integral gutters that collect rainwater from the roof, preventing runoff and allowing for efficient collection.  A standard rainwater kit, which includes downpipes that connect directly to the integral gutters and collect rainwater into storage tanks or water butts is also included in the package deal.   Also available is the ‘rainwater kit to one gutter‘ option, allowing users to funnel rainwater from two separate gutters into a single downpipe, ensuring that both sides of the greenhouse contribute to a centralised storage system/water butt.   It is important to note that this system can only be used at the rear of a greenhouse.

Bar Capping:
The Sanctuary 8 greenhouse is supplied with bar capping as a standard feature. This system provides a stronger, more secure hold for the glass and includes a rubber fin that enhances the water seal while neatly concealing the glazing clips for a cleaner, more refined finish.

Bar capping is supplied in black as standard with aluminium models. For powder-coated greenhouses, the bar capping is colour-matched to the frame.  If you would prefer an alternative colour, please specify your choice in the order notes.

Cantilevers
Cantilevers are supplied as standard with the Sanctuary 8 greenhouse.  They are used as eave and/or ridge bracing.  They add strength to greenhouse framework by providing additional support and rigidity. The cantilevers distribute the weight and pressure more evenly across the framework, which can be useful in areas with high wind or snow loads.

Canopy Seal
A canopy seal is supplied as standard with the Sanctuary 8 greenhouse.  It is used along the ridge of the greenhouse, preventing leaks, helping reduce condensation and providing a neat finish between the glazing and frame.

Powder Coating:
Greenhouses are supplied in aluminium as standard.  However, Elite have a varied range of powder-coating colours to choose from; mocha, brown, graphite, white, olive, green, black, berry, stone and navy.  See the Powder Coating Tab for further information.

Grow Hooks:
Elite Grow Hooks are included with the package deal.  They serve as attachment points for lightweight supports used in plant development, such as tomato strings. Apart from tomato strings, the hooks can be used to support other lightweight structures or materials that aid in plant growth and maintenance.

Cresting & Finials:
Cresting & Finials can be added to the Elite Sanctuary 8 greenhouse and are used to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. Cresting refers to ornamental ridge tiles or other decorative elements along the ridge of a roof, while finials are decorative ornaments at the gable top.  They can also serve as a deterrent against cats and birds.  They are provided in aluminium as standard, or can be powder coated to match your greenhouse.

Guarantee:
Elite Greenhouses are provided with a 20 year guarantee.  They guarantee that no aluminium part will rust or warp.  The guarantee excludes glazing or weather damage.
