Juliana Gartner Greenhouse
The Juliana Gartner greenhouse is a high-quality gardening structure designed to meet the needs of both hobbyist and professional gardeners. Known for its robust construction and elegant design, the Juliana Gartner provides a spacious and controlled environment ideal for growing a wide range of plants.
This greenhouse is constructed with a strong aluminum frame, which ensures durability and longevity, even in challenging weather conditions. The standard toughened safety glass offers excellent light transmission while providing insulation and protection for your plants.
One of the standout features of the Juliana Gartner greenhouse is its ample interior space. The generous height and width provide plenty of room for both tall plants and a variety of gardening activities. The design also includes large, adjustable roof vents and wide double stable doors, which allow for excellent ventilation and easy access. These features are essential for maintaining the ideal growing environment and ensuring the comfort of those working inside.
Base:
The optional 12cm steel greenhouse base makes for a solid foundation and speeds up the build process. It also ensures you won’t have to build a brick or timber base.
Doors:
The Juliana Gartner is supplied with low threshold double stable doors, with the ability to keep the lower parts of the stable door closed to keep uninvited large and small animals away and the upper part open for ventilation. The doors are also provided with a door handle in stainless steel with an integrated lock.
Glass:
The greenhouse is equipped with 3mm long pane toughened safety glass as standard.
Roof Vents & Louvres:
The Gartner model is equipped with at least four manual roof vents, the number increases with the size of greenhouse:
- 14ft long with two roof vents
- 16ft & 19ft with six roof vents
Juliana Louvres (inc glass) are available to add to the greenhouse, if required.
Automatic Ventilation:
Automatic roof vent openers can also be added to your order. The automated openers will ensure that your roof vents open and close automatically, depending on the temperature, keeping your plants ventilated appropriately. If you opt to add a louvre to your order – automatic openers can be added to these too.
Shelving/Staging:
Staging and shelving is available in black. For the Gartner, we recommend the Juliana integral staging and integral shelf.
Rainwater Collection:
The greenhouse is provided with integral gutters that collect rainwater from the roof, preventing runoff and allowing for efficient collection. The gutters also include a Leaf Guard to prevent fallen leaves from blocking the gutters. The four downpipes have a diameter of 40mm and are attached directly to the gutter.
Glazing Capping:
Glazing capping is included, giving a sophisticated finish with no clips or overlaps.
Powder Coating:
The greenhouse is available in either aluminium & black or anthracite & black.
Cresting & Finials:
Finials are included as standard with the Juliana Gartner model. Crestings are available to purchase separately. Cresting refers to ornamental ridge tiles or other decorative elements along the ridge of a roof, while finials are decorative ornaments typically found at the gable top. They can also serve as a deterrent against cats and birds. They are provided in anthracite as standard with this model.
Roller Blinds
Juliana Roller Blinds can be purchased separately for the Juliana Compact greenhouse. The packs consist of two black roller blinds, which attach directly to the greenhouse glass using suction cups.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to deliver to the Scottish Highlands or locations requiring transport over water (e.g. islands) due to logistical challenges and significantly increased costs associated with transporting goods to these areas. We aim to keep delivery efficient and affordable for all customer and these regions currently fall outside our delivery network. However, if you’d like us to explore an alternative courier option, please contact us for a quotation, we have many customers who arrange their own courier to these areas.
Juliana Gartner Lead Times (For Guidance Only and Subject to Seasonal Variation):
All Gartner Models – 4-6 weeks
We offer a greenhouse installation service in mainland England (excluding CA postcodes) and postcodes CF, LL, SY and NP in Wales. Installations in central London will incur a surcharge. The current lead time for installations is 4-8 weeks. A greenhouse base must be purchased for installation which will be installed on a completely level solid concrete or slabbed floor. The fee includes the installation of autovents, louvres, downpipes, connecting kits, water butts and cresting if purchased with the greenhouse. Other accessories are chargeable. Installations exclude Northern Ireland, Islands, Allotments and Scotland (though please feel free to contact us if this applies to you, and we can advise alternative recommended installers).

The Juliana Gartner is a huge greenhouse, with a ridge height of 9’5″ and a maximum length of 19’2″ – this model is for the greenhouse obsessed. The greenhouse was designed originally for Denmark weather conditions, including snow, so it is fully capable of withstanding adverse weather conditions. We love the stable doors on the greenhouse, great if you have pets or chickens, as you can close the bottom of the door, but leave the top open for ventilation during the summer. The wide gutters are a great addition, as well at the gutter guards, which keep leaves out of the gutters. The colours are limited to black and aluminium or black and anthracite.
