The Halls Magnum greenhouse is a popular, high-quality structure designed for home gardeners looking for a spacious, durable, and versatile growing environment. Manufactured by Halls Greenhouses, a reputable brand with a long history in producing domestic greenhouses, the Magnum model stands out for its robust construction and large interior, making it ideal for both hobbyist and serious gardeners.
The Halls Magnum is available in three sizes, 8×10, 8×12 and 8×14. Its spacious design offers ample room for growing a variety of plants, vegetables, and flowers, as well as for moving around comfortably while working.
Base:
The highly recommended optional galvanized strong steel base raises the greenhouse by 12cm and guarantees the door runs smoothly. It provides fast construction without the need to construct your own timber or brick base.
Doors:
The Halls Magnum is supplied with double sliding, low threshold doors
Glass:
The greenhouse is supplied as standard with full sheet 3mm toughened safety glass. However, you can also opt for 6mm polycarbonate. We recommend toughened safety glass for any properties with children and/or pets.
Roof Vents & Louvres:
The Magnum is equipped with four manual roof vents as standard. Louvres can be added to your order, if you choose. Please see Halls Louvre Windows to add to your order.
Automatic Ventilation:
Automatic roof vent openers can also be added to your order. The automated openers will ensure that your vents open and close automatically, depending on the temperature, keeping your plants ventilated appropriately (linked below).
Shelving/Staging:
Free-standing staging is available in aluminium, black or green. For the Magnum, the 1-tier or 2-tier free-standing staging is recommended.
Rainwater Collection:
The greenhouse is provided with integral gutters that collect rainwater from the roof, preventing runoff and allowing for efficient collection. To maximise the effectiveness of the integral gutters, we offer optional rainwater kits. The Magnum Rainwater Kit includes downpipes that connect directly to the integral gutters and collect rainwater into storage tanks or water butts (linked below).

Unfortunately, we’re unable to deliver to the Scottish Highlands or locations requiring transport over water (e.g. islands) due to logistical challenges and significantly increased costs associated with transporting goods to these areas. We aim to keep delivery efficient and affordable for all customer and these regions currently fall outside our delivery network. However, if you’d like us to explore an alternative courier option, please contact us for a quotation, we have many customers who arrange their own courier to these areas.

Powder Coated Not Available.
We offer a greenhouse installation service in mainland England (excluding CA postcodes) and postcodes CF, LL, SY and NP in Wales. Installations in central London will incur a surcharge. The current lead time for installations is 4-8 weeks. A greenhouse base must be purchased for installation which will be installed on a completely level solid concrete or slabbed floor. The fee includes the installation of autovents, louvres, downpipes, connecting kits, water butts and cresting if purchased with the greenhouse. Other accessories are chargeable. Installations exclude Northern Ireland, Islands, Allotments and Scotland (though please feel free to contact us if this applies to you, and we can advise alternative recommended installers).

The Halls Magnum is a larger sized greenhouse for added space. The double doors create a better entry/exit space, allowing for wheelbarrows etc. It has four roof vents as standard, which is more than usual for this size greenhouse, giving better ventilation without added cost.
