The Halls Icon 6 is the latest offering from Halls Greenhouses, a refreshed, upgraded 6ft wide model. With improved strength, clever new features, and brighter, roomier interiors, the Icon delivers exceptional value without sacrificing quality or style.
This isn’t just a minor update to existing greenhouses, the Icon is a comprehensive redesign, packed with improvements that benefit everyday gardeners:
- New G-Spring Glazing Clips
A more secure and tidy glazing method, replacing the traditional wire clips. - Strengthened Ridge Bar with T-Slot Channel
Provides additional strength to reduce flex. It reduces movement in the frame, supports optional decorative cresting, and discourages birds from settling on the ridge. - Enlarged Gutters and 40mm Downpipes
Better suited to heavy rainfall and ideal for anyone collecting rainwater. - Reworked Roof Angles
The steeper pitch from 34 degrees to 40.5 degrees for freestanding models, improves performance against wind and helps snow slide off more easily. - Raised Eaves Height
The Icon 6 now offers a 1.4m eaves height, creating an open, airy internal environment. - Low Threshold Doors

We have put together a handy Package Deal option, for the Icon 6×4, available in either plain aluminium, green or black powder coating with full sheet toughened safety glass, giving customers a comprehensive package. We are confident you won’t find such a comprehensive offering of this offering at this price anywhere else! If you do find one – we will price match with no quibbles!

Base:
The galvanized strong steel (black) base raises the greenhouse by 12cm and guarantees the door runs smoothly. It provides fast construction without the need to construct your own timber or brick base. The base is included as standard with our Package Deal.
Doors:
The Halls Icon 6 is supplied with a low threshold single sliding door.
Glass:
This Package Deal is supplied with 3mm full-sheet toughened safety glass as standard

Roof Vents & Louvres:
The Icon 6 model is equipped with one manual roof vent. The Package Deal does not include louvres, but these can be added, if you wish.
Automatic Ventilation:
Automatic roof vent openers can also be added to your order. The automated openers will ensure that your vents open and close automatically, depending on the temperature, keeping your plants ventilated appropriately.
Shelving/Staging:
The Package Deal includes Folding Modular Staging to the length of the greenhouse. Please note that this is supplied in Black only.
Rainwater Collection:
The greenhouse is provided with integral gutters that collect rainwater from the roof, preventing runoff and allowing for efficient collection. The package deal includes a downpipes for both sides of the greenhouse, that connect directly to the integral gutters and collect rainwater into storage tanks or water butts (sold separately).
Powder Coating:
The greenhouse is available in Black or Green. See the Powder Coating Tab for further information.
Glazing Capping:
Black glazing capping is also included in the Icon Package Deal.

The Halls Icon 6 Package Deal is available powder coated green or black. The quality of the powder coating has proven to last for decades, so there is no other maintenance than ordinary cleaning once or twice a year.
At The Greenhouse Shop, we pride ourselves on offering the fastest delivery service for Halls greenhouses anywhere in the UK. All Halls models are delivered directly on Halls’ own transport fleet, ensuring your greenhouse arrives safely and efficiently.
We process every order the same day it’s received, so your order enters production without delay, meaning you’ll receive your greenhouse in the quickest possible time.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to deliver to the Scottish Highlands or locations requiring transport over water (e.g. islands) due to logistical challenges and significantly increased costs associated with transporting goods to these areas. We aim to keep delivery efficient and affordable for all customer and these regions currently fall outside our delivery network. However, if you’d like us to explore an alternative courier option, please contact us for a quotation, we have many customers who arrange their own courier to these areas.

England & Wales Deliveries – Up to 6 weeks
All Other Areas – Up to 8 weeks.
We offer a greenhouse installation service in mainland England (excluding CA postcodes) and postcodes CF, LL, SY and NP in Wales. Installations in central London will incur a surcharge. The current lead time for installations is 14 days from delivery of the greenhouse. A greenhouse base must be purchased for installation which will be installed on a completely level solid concrete or slabbed floor. The fee includes the installation of autovents, louvres, downpipes, connecting kits, glazing capping, water butts and cresting if purchased with the greenhouse. Other accessories are chargeable. Installations exclude Northern Ireland, Islands, Allotments and Scotland (though please feel free to contact us if this applies to you, and we can advise alternative recommended installers).

It’s difficult to give an opinion as yet, as the Halls Icon 6 is so new to the market. However, the improvements that have been made to the greenhouse range, we cannot ignore – the low threshold is definitely a plus-point on this greenhouse as it’s something that we are conscious of with the Popular model. The price is also a big plus-point as it’s still a budget greenhouse with lots of new features. This Package Deal includes a comprehensive list of items to ensure you’re fully equipped from the start – and with our usual free delivery too.
