The Halls Cotswold Blockley Greenhouse is a large, premium-quality greenhouse designed for gardeners who need ample space for their growing needs. Base:
The greenhouse features an integral base as standard.
Doors:
The Halls Blockley is supplied with double sliding doors and features the revolutionary, patented, Zero Threshold™ door system, developed to ensure smooth, jam-free operation. The system also does away with the traditional threshold bar, meaning there is no possibility of tripping. The greenhouse doors also have a handle, lock and key.
Glass:
The greenhouse can be fitted with full sheet 3mm toughened safety glass or 6mm twin wall polycarbonate. We recommend toughened safety glass for any properties with children and/or pets.
Roof Vents & Louvres:
The Blockley model is equipped with four roof vents as standard.
Automatic Ventilation:
Automatic roof vent openers can also be added to your order. The automated openers will ensure that your vents open and close automatically, depending on the temperature, keeping your plants ventilated appropriately (linked below).
Shelving/Staging:
Integral staging is available in black. For the Blockley, the Halls Cotswold staging/shelving is recommended (linked below).
Rainwater Collection:
The greenhouse is provided with extra wide, 80mm integral gutters that collect rainwater from the roof, preventing runoff and allowing for efficient collection. Downpipes are also included with the greenhouse as standard. The downpipes connect directly to the integral gutters and collect rainwater into storage tanks or water butts.
Glazing Capping:
Glazing capping is included, giving a sophisticated finish with no clips or overlaps.
Powder Coating:
The greenhouse is supplied in aluminium as standard. However, we offer the option to choose either Black or Green colours to suit your taste.
Crestings:
Crestings are used to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. Cresting refers to ornamental ridge tiles or other decorative elements along the ridge of a roof. They can also serve as a deterrent against cats and birds. For the Birdlip model, they are provided in black aluminium as standard. See ‘Halls Cotswold Crestings’ to add to your order (linked below).
Installations:
We offer a greenhouse installation service in mainland England (excluding CA postcodes) and postcodes CF, LL, SY and NP in Wales. Installations in central London will incur a surcharge. The current lead time for installations is 4-8 weeks. A greenhouse base must be purchased for installation which will be installed on a completely level solid concrete or slabbed floor. The fee includes the installation of autovents, louvres, downpipes, connecting kits, water butts and cresting if purchased with the greenhouse. Other accessories are chargeable. Installations exclude Northern Ireland, Islands, Allotments and Scotland (though please feel free to contact us if this applies to you, and we can advise alternative recommended installers).
